Have u ever had a friend ,..a brother,..sb u love or even sb u just know whose life was about to end coz he just can't find proper medicine or enough money or whatever can save his life....?!!!
how did u feel about that?!!!,...& if u weren't in such situation b4 ...have u ever imagined how would it feel like?!!!!
what if u can simply save lots of lives without paying a lot of money or exerting much effort & over all that u'll enhance ur health....!!!
It's all about BLOOD DONATION....!!!
mayb most of the ppl now ,after the latest issue concerning blood & so, worry about that & consider it a risk,..so they fear donating & consequently there's an awful shortage in the blood needed everyday ...!!!
i know ppl dnt trust the government @ all,... but i guess dr 7atem el gabaly said the truth more than once & admitted that corruption is there,..so that's gives him some credibility 2 make us believe that it's not that dangerous ....!!!
i just imagined sb i care about in bad need for blood & can't find it ,..it'll b really horrible...!!!
& u,..just try 2 imagine ur self in such situation.....surely u'll go & donate without thinking about the consequences .....!!!
so plz try 2 think about hundreds of ppl u can save with ur donations instead if thinking about the risks ,..it really worths ...!!!
mayb i didn't take the step coz unfortunately i'm not capable 2 & i'll be rejected as a donor ,..so @ least i thought about reminding others about how critical this issue is & encouraging them 2 take an effective step instead of complaining & criticizing what is going on....!!!
finally i just wanna say plz think about that & try 2 contribute in saving lives.... believe that u can make difference U REALLY CAN HELP.... & remember:

I know what u mean,I've seen it with my eyes when someone u care abt needs blood donation,and btw,let me inform u,that even teh donated blood is found to be corrupted in the end ,which leads to more comlications in the patient's case(seen it with my own eyes not sth I heard),but tell me sth,wt will u do if u knew everytime u donate blood,u have abt 30% probability that u'd catch a blood desease,some of them that cant be cured!!!u'll tell me that its the good thought of how we're gonna help others ,but it can cause damage in ur own family,its not as easy as it seams,and if u tell me to go to one of the prestigous hospitals to donate.it takes a lot of arrangments(from the side of the hospital) that it makes the donar thinks hundreds of times b4 taking this step

from where did u get this statistics???
the donor can't get any infection or disease
the bag and the syringe is opened infront of u and they r sterilized and if not u have the right to ask them to do so , so there is no risk on the donor
the recipient are those who can get infections but after they took blood from u they had many tests done on it to exclude any infections so it's safe

the worst thing that can happens to u as a donor is hypotension of to lose consciousness and so they usually don't accept ppl less than 50KG and they measure the blood hemoglobin so u r not anemic before donation
during donation if u feel that u r not ok or u will lose u consciousness u have the right to ask them to stop taking blood from u
after donation u need not to make great effort at that day , drink water and juice and chocolate , eat well and by next day u will be ok

i can't tell u how many ppl need blood , especially children who already have blood diseases and they need blood transfusion sometimes every 1-2 weeks and they need to find their blood group
we see such children alot ( u can come to see them if u want fel mostashfa eldemerdash and everywhere )
another story : fe koliat elteb if they have shortage in a blood group they used to go in lectures and ask students to donate so last thursday we were in a lecture and a doctor entered and asked for a certain blood group , my friends had the same group so they went with him , after they r back i asked them what was the cases that needed blood they told me she was a woman , she was delivering a baby when she had bleeding and they needed blood for her

but plz ppl don't say things as rumors that r not true or until u are sure about it

as I told u I've seen it with my own eyes the need of blood donation,as my grand ma was donated an infected blood.as for how it can the donar can be harmed,my cousin was one of the harmed people as a donar because the serying wasn't clean in the hospital!asking abt which ospital it was the hussein,followinf el Azhar university,so again it's not rumors,I've seen them.

and for the statistics it considered the hospital"sorry for not clarrifying",and as how the syring wasn't clean,it was simply left abt 5 min without the cover(an honest mistake as they say),and as for my cousin he catched influenza,nothing that doen't happen regularly but it could've been more.

as i said u have the right to make them open it in front of ur eyes as any syringe or refuse to use this syringe
as for catching influenza
that can't be happened because influenza can't be transmitted by any mean by blood

because influenza don't exist in blood , and u can ask any doctor in that
it's either another disease or he already had infuenza and it became apparent after the donation

yes he may catch a disease from the donor
especially some test are not accurate 100%
but i think most of us don't have the main diseases that are transmitted by blood so we can save ppl lives safly

hepatitis B&C&D ( eltehab kabedy waba2y or vairosy B&CD) ( hepatitis A is only transmitted by food )
AIDS, and other less important diseases
and only recipient can get them not the donor

I went to check btw,and yes influenza doesn't exist in blood,but the infection happened through the syring(ya3nee el 7o2na infected men el gaw we got him infected).
and any other viral disease can be transmitted also through blood if the syring mesh mo3akama kefaya or by old fashion ways like(microwave)not gamma rays as they should be doing right now,btw it's not m words,its from a doctor also :).
my point is I dnt disagree with donating blood it is the method that's followed in egypt,and how it becomes hard.

about influenza , we study a whole subject about that , and others related to them and every virus or a bacteria has a suitable medium in the body to live in , some live in the nose , the stomach , the colon or other places and influenza can't be transmitted through blood influenza virus live in the nose and throat and transmitted by coughing and sneezing and even if the syringe was infected by it , the virus can't live in blood

u don't agree with the way followed in egypt and may ppl donate every day and had nothing , i saw many ppl donating blood and no one get infected and that's in egypt
