have u ever met sb that made u feel as if u've known each other for years?....as if u r so similar?!
that's what i felt about 4 months ago,.....although i'm not that kind of ppl who make friendships easily,...i rarely get impressed by sb or feel so close to....but it happened when i met her : 3ABEER :)....!!
it was all about destiny to know her ,....she was my sister's friend & since she lives in Palestine ,...i didn't met her till she had to come to egypt in her way to UAE to c her sick father & the rest of her family living there.......!!
she had to cross the borders in several days & pass by cairo to to take the plane for UAE,,....she expected the visa in a couple of days but it took a week to get it.....& fortunately it was the opportunity to know her more......!!
it was the 1st week in this term,...we almost met everyday,....wander somewhere & talk about everything,....& as usual i had to find some medical terminologies between her & my sister :D due to their common field;; ,.....but after all we found many things in common,....the way we think,..the way we dress up,....even in our societies there r many many things in common ,....from the good or bad prospective ....!!!
each day she went to the hotel expecting the visa would come the following day & she's gonna leave,.....i wished for her to get the visa as soon as possible but on the other hand i felt that we got closer in few days -as it never happened with me b4 - & i felt that i'm gonna miss her.....!! it was the week b4 the valentines & everything was turning red,.....we were making fun of it esp. that it wasn't something odd as it turned out that even there they had some ppl celebrating it that way.....!!
Wednesday 14 February was the last day we met ,.....& i remember it as it's related to that freaking valentines.......but we said goodbye in another way,......we went to Yusuf El Sa7aby mosque ,...then after el 3isha2 on our way to the near by hotel we stopped & ate ice cream :D,...then we went to the hotel,...exchanged gifts ,...said goodbye .....!!! i was really impressed .....!!! although after she went back home we still have a contact with her but i hope one day we can meet again,.....& mayb pray in al masjed al aksa (where she prayed few years ago :)).....!!!

mayb i was about to write about that wonderful chance several times before,...but as it's ur birthday i had to say all that & surely say HAPPY BIRTHDAY :) & let me take ur quote;

&i always believed that its people are so nice
all these feelings where reinforced when i visited cairo the last feb.
i cant express how greatfull im, for the nice &kind family who welcomed &helped someone, who they never met before, (me &amira met online , we were in te same group -life makers in medicine)
actually i felt i bothered them alot :d coz im aperson who is (ktteret 3álabe ), but they were so nice to me
the other thing , i felt so close to them , as you said omayma, how we think , how we do dress, our hobbies, how do we like 2 spend our free time ,... many things 2 rememebr ya omayma :)
& i can never 4get the last day, whic was the valentines, &we went 2 attend mostafa 7osni lecture
&i rememebr , i said if i have 2 choose an arabic country 2 live in , after palestine, i wont heistate choosing egypt & imean it
